Jonas (11) is looking forward to summer holidays. Escaping all the stress with stepdad Uli, he’ll stay with his cool grandfather in Slovakia, ideally forever. Weather is hot, no annoying parents around – holidays can start! But something is wrong with grandpa Bernard (57). He recently got off the track; he comes home late and sleeps during the day. Jonas is confused. Is grandpa sick, or maybe too old? Something must be done! To save the summer and get good old grandpa back, Jonas uses all kind of tricks. In attempt to fix Bernard’s love life he hacks into his computer and connects to dating websites, or he secretly opens a business. All plans go wrong but end happily. Thanks to Jonas, Bernard starts working again and even finds love. Jonas gives his relationship with Uli a second chance. After all, even adults seem to be able to change.
