ABOUT THE DIRECTOR

ARMANDS ZVIRBULIS is an experienced Latvian film director and film editor. He debuted with the feature drama The Broken Nest (co-directed with Uldis Pucitis). For the past years Zvirbulis has worked as an editor on several documentaries and fiction films, as well as directed TV series and evening shows for the Latvian TV. The Little Thieves (2009) was the screen debut of Zvirbulis, the film has been screened in more than 60 film festivals and won 20 awards, diplomas and nominations.

Mistrus Media was established in 2000 and is one of the leading film studios in Latvia, producing feature documentaries, feature fiction films and is a provider of filming and location services and producer of industrial films and commercials.
