One day Madalena discovers her mother’s secret journal. Browsing through it, she finds a feather and clues leading to a mysterious big white bird’s nest. The girl decides to locate it, believing that it’s the only way to cheer up her ornithologist father who after losing his wife became estranged to his children. Using the directions from her mother’s journal, Madalena sets on an adventurous journey through her hometown of Fatima. She is accompanied by her brother and their two new friends, whose identity, just like the one of the big bird’s, remains unknown to her. During the expedition Madalena will learn the true meaning of friendship, loyalty, faith and betray. And the secret that will be revealed to her in the end will change her life and the lives of those close to her.
